“I know I've thanked you all already but what a fantastic effort which saw us lapping at the same times as our competitors in our race at a circuit we hadn't ridden before - top stuff !

Had it not been for my bike letting us down then I'm confident we'd have been pushing for a place on the podium - ah well that's bikes init ?  Thanks also to my old mate Parky who came straight from work on Saturday and went straight back to work on Sunday night and spannered for us in between, thanks mate for sorting it for me”.

Top effort from John and Phil though, it was a real grueller for them after I retired and I felt so guilty as the afternoon progressed as I could see how hard they were riding and what effect it was having on them - well ridden boys you did us proud putting in some proper fast lap times.
